Three programmes, three starting points — one thoughtful approach throughout
Whether you are beginning to organise your household finances or preparing a long-term family financial structure, we have a programme designed for that stage of the journey.
Back to HomeHow we structure learning at every level
Every Ayutthaya Learning programme is built around a principle we call contextual anchoring — the idea that financial concepts are best understood when they are connected to situations the learner already recognises. Abstract theory has its place, but it is not where we start.
Each programme begins with a pre-course intake that helps us understand where you are today: your existing savings and insurance arrangements, your household structure, the financial decisions you are likely to face in the next few years. The curriculum is then taught with those realities in the room.
We learn your situation before the course begins.
Concepts introduced through real-life Thai household scenarios.
Worksheets and individual sessions turn general learning into specific plans.
Post-course support ensures the learning translates into lasting decisions.
Practical Household Finance at Mid-Life
A grounded six-week course for learners who want to apply everyday financial organisation to their households after forty. Topics include reviewing recurring expenses with fresh eyes, designing a modest emergency reserve that accounts for extended family obligations, understanding insurance policies without jargon, and setting savings targets tied to personal circumstances.
What the programme includes
- Weekly live sessions with recorded replays
- Printed reference materials for at-home use
- Small cohort of twelve — structured peer discussion
- Closing individual conversation addressing personal questions
- Appropriate for first-time structured finance learners
Retirement Income Design for Working Professionals
A ten-week mid-level programme for learners approaching retirement who want to think carefully about income sources. Topics include mapping expected pension and provident fund distributions, planning withdrawal sequences from Thai and overseas accounts, designing part-time work in early retirement without penalty, and stress-testing a retirement plan against health cost scenarios.
What the programme includes
- Biweekly live sessions with recordings
- Personalised income-planning worksheet reviewed individually
- Three group coaching calls
- Suitable for learners within ten years of intended retirement
- Follow-up consultation nine months after course concludes
Family Office Foundations Programme
A fourteen-week advanced programme for learners with considerable assets who wish to build a modest family office approach for the coming decades. The curriculum covers formal asset inventory processes, coordinating Thai and international advisors, setting household spending policies across generations, preparing adult children to participate in financial decisions, and structuring charitable giving in alignment with family values.
What the programme includes
- Individual consultations: financial advisor, governance specialist, estate attorney
- Three in-person gatherings in Bangkok
- Maximum seven participants per cohort
- A full year of follow-up advisory support after completion
- Appropriate for learners with substantial assets and multigenerational planning needs
