Things people often ask before enrolling

Do I need a financial background to join the household finance course?
Not at all. The Practical Household Finance course is designed specifically for learners who have not previously taken a structured finance course. The material begins with everyday situations — monthly expenses, insurance documents, savings habits — rather than technical concepts. You will find it comfortable from the first session.
How are the live sessions delivered?
Sessions are held online in small groups, with recorded replays available for any session you cannot attend. The Family Office Foundations programme additionally includes three in-person gatherings in Bangkok, which are arranged well in advance to suit participants' schedules.
What language are the courses taught in?
All three courses are delivered in English. Written materials, worksheets, and reference guides are also provided in English. If you have questions about language accessibility, please contact us before enrolling — we are happy to discuss your situation directly.
Is there a minimum age or income level to enrol?
Our courses are designed with learners in their forties and beyond in mind, though anyone who finds the content relevant is welcome to enquire. There is no income threshold for any of the programmes — each course is adapted to the range of circumstances within its cohort.
How much time each week does a course require?
The household finance and retirement income courses typically require three to four hours per week, including the live session and any independent reading. The Family Office Foundations programme may require slightly more — around five to six hours — given the depth and scope of individual consultation work involved.
What happens after the course ends?
Each programme includes follow-up provisions. The retirement income course offers a consultation nine months after completion. The Family Office Foundations programme includes a full year of follow-up advisory support. For the household finance course, a closing individual conversation provides personalised guidance to conclude the programme.
